Danai Gurira Honors Chadwick Boseman In The Most Touching Way!
Earlier today, Danai Gurira joined the long list of people mourning the passing of Chadwick Boseman by posting an extremely touching tribute dedicated to the Black Panther actor who tragically passed away at the age of only 43.
As you probably know, the news that Chadwick Boseman died was shared on Friday, shocking all of social media since no one knew about his diagnosis that was discovered no less than 4 years ago!
The actor had been battling colon cancer since 2016 but kept it all private, fans and even the people with whom he worked on various movies throughout those years having no idea that he was receiving aggressive treatment and even undergoing surgeries.
Despite his pain and suffering Chadwick Boseman always gave his best performance in front of the cameras.
As for Gurira’s letter about the late actor, it was pretty long and discussed the legacy Boseman is leaving behind.

Alongside a photo of the 2 of them hugging, she wrote in part: ‘How do you honor a king? Struggling for words. Nothing really feels adequate. I always marveled at just how special Chadwick was. Such a pure hearted, profoundly generous, regal and fun guy. He was the epitome of kindness, elegance, of diligence and grace. On many occasions I would think how thankful I was he was the leading man I was working closely with.’
‘A true class act. And perfectly equipped to take on responsibility of leading a franchise that changed everything for Black representation. He made everybody feel loved, heard and seen. He played great and iconic roles because he possessed inside of himself that connection to greatness to be able to so richly bring them to life,’ the tribute continued.

Danai also expressed how much she feels for the youth that has lost someone like Chadwick as their role model.
